On August 8, 2026, Bangladesh Empowered marked the publication of Reclaiming Bangladesh: Democracy, Governance and Nation Building — Selected Writings of Ambassador M. Serajul Islam, published by University Press Limited (UPL).

The afternoon brought together the unveiling of the book, scholarship awards to students carrying forward Ambassador Islam's commitment to public service, and a moderated discussion on democracy, governance, and Bangladesh's political future.
